INTRODUCTION
The five essays contained in this volume deal with Australia’s early automotive history, Holden’s HQ Series of cars, specifically that of the HQ Monaro, and with the sad closing chapter of Australia’s car industry. It is not a comprehensive volume, but one that might invite others to research this very interesting subject.
